In a tragic detail, 39-year-old Marina Massey was found deceased with her four-year-old son in her arms, both wearing life jackets. Witnesses reported that strong winds made the water increasingly turbulent, prompting passengers to urge the crew to return to shore, but these warnings were ignored. Following the incident, the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Department has taken strict action against those responsible for safety lapses, including the dismissal of the cruise pilot and other staff. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has ordered a suspension of similar cruise operations until a thorough inquiry is conducted.
