A family from Delhi experienced a devastating tragedy during a sightseeing trip in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, when their cruise boat capsized in the Bargi reservoir on April 30. Merina's sister, Treeza Chauhan, recounted a haunting last video call with Merina, who was initially cheerful but later called in panic, pleading for help as the boat capsized. Treeza noted that no one on the boat was wearing life jackets, which she found shocking. Survivors described the chaos as water flooded the vessel, with some passengers jumping into the water in fear.
