In a tragic incident early Friday morning, three men lost their lives when a goods vehicle crashed into a stationary container truck on the IMT Chowk flyover in Manesar, Haryana, India. The deceased, identified as Shankar Bind (driver), Sunil Kumar (conductor), and Ramraj Prasad, were traveling from Bhiwadi in Rajasthan to Delhi when the accident occurred around 2 AM. According to police reports, the container truck, registered in Haryana, was parked without reflectors or warning signs, which may have contributed to the severity of the crash. The complainant, Durga Prasad, the driver’s brother, stated that an unidentified vehicle changed lanes suddenly, leaving little time for the truck to react. Following the accident, the driver of the stationary truck was also injured and is currently hospitalized. An FIR has been filed under sections 285 and 106 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita at the Manesar police station against the unidentified driver of the container truck, who will be arrested upon discharge from the hospital.
