The investigation into the murder of Sidhu Moose Wala, a prominent Punjabi singer, remains unresolved nearly four years after his death on May 29, 2022, in Jawaharke village, Mansa district, Punjab, India. The Mansa police have named a total of 34 individuals in connection with the case, including notorious gangsters like Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar. Recently, the police declared Jeevanjot Singh alias Jugnu innocent, citing a lack of evidence against him. However, the roles of Navjot Singh alias Jyoti Pandher, Kanwarpal Singh Grewal, and Avtar Singh are still under investigation. The police suspect Avtar may have conducted surveillance on Moose Wala’s residence. The ongoing feud between the Bishnoi and Bambiha gangs is believed to have motivated the murder, with Brar claiming the act was revenge for a gang-related killing. A session court has set May 22 as the next date for hearings, following a report submitted by the police after a court directive on April 10.
