Petronet LNG, a major player in the liquefied natural gas sector, reported a 25.19% increase in net profit for the quarter ending March 2026, reaching ₹1,370.74 crore compared to ₹1,094.90 crore in the same quarter of the previous year. However, the company faced a significant decline in sales, which dropped 23.33% to ₹9,442.09 crore from ₹12,315.75 crore in the corresponding quarter of March 2025. For the entire fiscal year ending March 2026, Petronet LNG's net profit fell by 1.51% to ₹3,912.53 crore, down from ₹3,972.68 crore in the previous year. Annual sales also saw a decline of 14.69%, totaling ₹43,494.91 crore compared to ₹50,982.03 crore in the prior year. The company's operational performance was affected, with a notable drop in operating profit margin (OPM) from 19.71% to 12.28%.
