PNC Infratech has emerged as the lowest bidder for a ₹194.4 crore (approximately $23.3 million USD) engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) project awarded by the Lucknow Development Authority in Uttar Pradesh, India. The project entails the construction of a 4-lane flyover with 2 loops and 2 ramps at the Shaheed Path intersection on the right-hand side of the Gomti River in Lucknow. The expected completion period for the project is 24 months. PNC Infratech, a prominent player in the infrastructure sector, also reported a 5.8% year-on-year decline in net profit to ₹76.7 crore in the third quarter, down from ₹81.4 crore last year. Revenue from operations fell by 18.3% to ₹1,200 crore from ₹1,470 crore. Following the project announcement, shares of PNC Infratech rose by 1.91%, closing at ₹223.85 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
