Canon India has unveiled the EOS R6V, a full-frame camera specifically designed for video creators, alongside the RF 20-50mm F4L IS USM lens, marking a significant step in catering to the country's burgeoning creator economy. The EOS R6V features a 32.5-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor capable of 7K Open Gate recording, making it ideal for filmmakers and content creators who require high-quality video. This launch is part of Canon's strategy to adapt to the evolving demands of creators, who increasingly expect cinematic quality in their content. The RF 20-50mm lens is Canon's first L-series lens with integrated power zoom, enhancing video versatility. Canon's Managing Executive Officer, Tiger Ishii, emphasized India's growing importance in their global roadmap, noting that the launch was synchronized worldwide, highlighting the country's potential in video creation. The EOS R6V is priced at ₹2,35,995 for the body and ₹1,42,995 for the lens, with a combined kit available for ₹3,55,995.
