The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Wide will serve as a horizontal foldable device, positioned between the Z Flip and Z Fold series. Unlike the regular Z Fold, which boasts a 200MP main camera, the Z Fold Wide will feature a 50MP f/1.8 main camera and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. This setup aligns with the Z Fold8's ultra-wide capabilities and surpasses the rumored camera configuration of the Galaxy Z Flip8, which includes a 50MP main and a 12MP ultra-wide camera. The Z Fold Wide will also include two 10MP selfie cameras, one on each screen, maintaining a design similar to the Z Fold8. Additionally, both the Z Fold Wide and Z Fold8 are expected to come with larger batteries of 4,800mAh and 5,000mAh, respectively, compared to the Z Fold7's 4,400mAh. The official launch date for these new foldable devices is anticipated to be on July 22, 2023.
