The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced a revised schedule for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) 2026, shifting the exam dates to May 31, June 6, and June 7. This change comes after the initial dates were postponed from May 28 due to the observance of Eid-ul-Azha. The NTA has already released the admit cards for candidates scheduled to take the exam on May 31, which can be downloaded from the official website cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates appearing for the tests on June 6 and June 7 will be able to access their admit cards soon. CUET-UG, established in 2022, serves as a standardized entrance examination for undergraduate admissions across Central, state, and select private universities in India. This initiative aims to replace multiple entrance tests with a single assessment platform that evaluates students on language skills, domain-specific subjects, and general aptitude. The introduction of CUET-UG aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which seeks to enhance inclusivity and equal opportunities in higher education.
