Candidates now have until June 22, 2026, at 11:50 PM to submit their details, following the cancellation of the exam due to allegations of irregularities and a paper leak. Since the facility became available on May 23, over 13 lakh candidates have already provided their information. To submit their bank details, candidates must log in to the NEET (UG)-2026 registration portal, and they can also upload a canceled cheque for accuracy. Once submitted, these details cannot be modified. The exam was initially conducted on May 3, with participation from over 22 lakh candidates across 551 cities in India and 14 cities abroad. In response to the controversy, a re-examination is scheduled for June 21, 2026, with the Union Education Ministry implementing stricter security measures and planning to conduct future exams in computer-based test (CBT) mode to prevent such issues.
