In response to the cancellation, Sanjay Kumar, Secretary of the Department of School Education and Literacy, confirmed that the government plans to reconduct the examination, with new dates to be announced soon. Many students, however, have voiced their discontent, feeling that their two years of preparation have been wasted. One aspirant from Patna lamented the loss of hard work, while another from Chhattisgarh expressed concern about the motivation to prepare again. The Ministry of Education has stated that no additional application or examination fees will be required for the re-examination, and refunds will be processed for those who had already paid. Officials have urged students to rely on official updates to avoid misinformation circulating on social media.
