Indian Railways is set to launch two new Amrit Bharat Express trains on April 28, 2026, aimed at providing affordable travel for lower and lower-middle-income passengers. The first train will run daily between Banaras in Uttar Pradesh and Hadapsar in Maharashtra, departing Banaras at 16:45 and arriving in Hadapsar at 00:55 the next day. This service will stop at 18 stations along the route, including Prayagraj and Jhansi. The second train will operate between Ayodhya Cantt and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus in Mumbai, also departing at 16:45 and arriving at 21:05.
