In a disturbing incident in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, a 27-year-old civil engineer was lured through the gay dating app Grindr, stabbed, and robbed by a group of four individuals. The police reported that the suspects, identified as Darshan and Rajesh, both aged 19, along with two juveniles, are school dropouts and currently unemployed. The attack occurred on Friday evening when the victim was contacted by an unidentified person and asked to meet near Palanahalli Gate. After a brief interaction, the group forced him into a secluded area, where he was threatened with a knife and assaulted. Despite his attempts to escape, he was overpowered and stabbed multiple times in the head, hand, and abdomen. The assailants then stole ₹16,000 (approximately $193 USD) from his mobile phone before fleeing the scene. The victim was later taken to a private hospital for treatment. The police utilized CCTV footage to apprehend the suspects, and further investigations are ongoing.
