The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has provisionally attached assets worth approximately ₹67.25 crore belonging to Govind Prasad Mehra, former engineer-in-chief of Madhya Pradesh's Public Works Department, under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. The action follows an investigation into Mehra's alleged accumulation of disproportionate assets during his tenure.

- 03The ED recovered cash worth ₹8.79 lakh and gold jewellery valued at ₹3.51 crore from properties linked to Mehra.
- 04A luxury property known as Kasturi Krishi Farm in Narmadapuram district, valued at nearly ₹50 crore, was also identified as part of the attached assets.
- 05Investigators found that the explanations for the acquisition of these assets were unsubstantiated and lacked credible documentation.
