The political situation in Tamil Nadu has escalated as TTV Dhinakaran (general secretary of the AMMK party) accused the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) of using a potentially forged video and letter to claim support from AMMK MLA Kamaraj. Dhinakaran raised concerns about the authenticity of a video showing Kamaraj endorsing actor-politician Vijay, suggesting it may have been generated using artificial intelligence. He called for an investigation to verify the video's legitimacy and demanded that TVK produce the original signed letter and video. The controversy arose after TVK submitted letters of support to Tamil Nadu Governor RV Arlekar while attempting to form a government. Dhinakaran claimed that Kamaraj discovered his signature was allegedly forged during the verification process. He criticized TVK for displaying 'arrogance and hatred' and questioned why Vijay had not personally introduced Kamaraj to the Governor. The ongoing political deadlock follows a hung verdict in the Assembly elections, where TVK won 108 seats out of 234, while the DMK secured 59 seats.
