In a tragic incident late Friday night in Gurugram, Haryana, India, 25-year-old Arvind Kumar was killed after a speeding white Maruti Swift Dzire struck him while he was riding a scooty with his employer, Anil Kumar. The accident occurred between 11:30 PM and 11:50 PM near the Sector 12 traffic signal, where the car allegedly drove recklessly and hit their vehicle from behind. Arvind sustained severe injuries, including a fractured leg and head trauma, and was taken to Gurugram Civil Hospital for treatment. Anil Kumar suffered minor injuries. Tragically, another victim, Shankar, a resident of Firozabad in Uttar Pradesh, also died from injuries inflicted by the same vehicle. Police arrived at the scene to find the car abandoned and have since registered an FIR under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Motor Vehicles Act. The driver has been apprehended, and investigations into the incident are ongoing.
