In the recent Tamil Nadu Class 12 board examinations, Erode district has emerged as the top performer with a pass percentage of 98.87%, marking a 0.89% increase from the previous year. Chief Educational Officer Dr. E. Maanvizhi highlighted that the district's success was due to targeted training for teachers and tailored study materials for students who struggled previously. A total of 22,478 students from Erode took the exams, with 22,225 passing. In contrast, Coimbatore district fell to 13th place with a pass percentage of 96.66%, down from 4th last year. Coimbatore saw 35,448 students appear for the exams, with 34,264 passing. Despite efforts to analyze and improve school performance, Coimbatore's pass percentage declined by 0.82%. Other districts, such as Tirupur and Namakkal, also saw shifts in their rankings, with Tirupur dropping to 11th and Namakkal rising to 10th. Overall, the results reflect significant changes in performance across various districts in Tamil Nadu.
