On Monday, Boora Narsaiah Goud, a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), criticized the INDIA Bloc, labeling it a 'corrupt dynastic political coalition' devoid of a clear ideology or policies. He specifically targeted Rahul Gandhi, the Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition, claiming that the bloc's sole focus is on anti-BJP and anti-Indian politics. Goud predicted that the INDIA Bloc would eventually disintegrate, drawing parallels with the Trinamool Congress (TMC), which has seen dissent among its members. He noted that 61 TMC MLAs have expressed their desire to form a separate bloc due to dissatisfaction with the current leadership. Meanwhile, the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) announced it would not attend the meeting, citing Congress's recent actions as a reason for their withdrawal. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) also confirmed its absence after leaving the INDIA Bloc last year. Despite these challenges, senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh emphasized that 23 parties would participate in the meeting, asserting that the opposition remains unified.
