Kraken has announced that YOM is now available for trading, effective June 5, 2026. YOM is a decentralized cloud gaming network that streams AAA games directly to users' devices without requiring downloads or installations. The platform operates through a decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) consisting of community-run GPU nodes. These operators contribute idle hardware via YOM’s NANO devices and earn passive token rewards. Players benefit from console-quality gameplay with latency under 12 milliseconds. The native token, $YOM, serves multiple purposes: rewarding node operators, supporting session-based economics, and enabling governance through the YOM Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO). Trading via the Kraken App and Instant Buy features will be available once liquidity conditions are satisfied, ensuring that there are enough buyers and sellers for efficient order matching. Kraken has indicated that more assets will be added in the future, although details will remain undisclosed until closer to launch.
