On Friday evening, panic ensued in Khadki, Maharashtra, when two men opened fire in the Rajiv Gandhi Nagar area, linked to an ongoing rivalry between groups. The incident occurred around 7:45 PM, when Akash Waghmare, the complainant, and a friend were confronted by the accused, Sudarshan Adsul and his associate Chinmay. Waghmare reported that previous complaints had been lodged due to their ongoing dispute. During the confrontation, Adsul allegedly brandished a country-made pistol and fired a shot at Waghmare and his friend, triggering chaos among the nearby residents and shopkeepers. Following the incident, senior police officials quickly arrived at the scene, and multiple teams were dispatched to locate the suspects. Both Adsul and Chinmay were arrested the same night.
