Bhoomi Habba, Bengaluru’s long-standing Earth festival, is set to return for its 18th edition at the Visthar campus on June 6, from 10 am to 7 pm. This year's theme, 'Restore, Reclaim: Community Paths to Climate Action', emphasizes the importance of community-led initiatives in addressing climate issues. The festival invites participants of all ages to engage in various activities that promote ecological awareness through food, art, and performance. Mercy Kappen, Trustee and Strategic Advisor at Visthar, highlights the festival's mission to bridge the gap between humanity and nature, transforming awareness into actionable climate-conscious choices. Attendees can look forward to a diverse program featuring folk music, theatre, storytelling, and hands-on workshops, including pottery and zero-waste practices. Additionally, the festival will showcase stalls offering climate-resilient foods, organic produce, and ethical fashion, fostering a community of eco-conscious citizens.
