Lauren Murby, a standout student at Merrimack High School, has been recognized as one of the Top 10 students for the Class of 2026. She will be pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree at Northeastern University in the fall. Throughout her high school journey, Lauren has taken several AP classes and earned college credits through Early College programs, demonstrating her academic dedication. In addition to her studies, she has been actively involved in extracurricular activities such as cross-country, track and field, and various leadership roles including vice president of the National Honor Society and student body treasurer. Lauren's athletic achievements include receiving the Coach’s Award for her commitment to improvement and team spirit. Outside of school, she volunteers as a camp counselor and at a local farm, reflecting her passion for community service. One of her memorable experiences was traveling to Italy with friends, enriching her cultural understanding. As she prepares for her future, Lauren expresses gratitude for the support from her family, friends, and teachers.
