The 'Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas' held by the Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC) revealed significant public dissatisfaction regarding municipal services, particularly in taxation. Out of 175 complaints received, 67% were linked to tax issues, with the tax department alone handling 117 complaints. Mayor Sushma Kharkwal chaired the session, urging officials to resolve grievances swiftly and efficiently. Zones such as Zone-1, which includes areas like Hazratganj and Lalbagh, reported the highest number of tax-related complaints at 27, followed closely by Zone-3 (Aliganj) with 23 complaints. The mayor emphasized the need for immediate action on issues related to water supply, sanitation, and road repairs, and warned officials against negligence in addressing public complaints. The initiative aims to improve accountability and foster better communication between residents and the municipal administration.
