The match saw Pyari Xaxa score first, followed by an equalizer from Bangladesh's Ritu Porna Chakma. However, India quickly regained the lead with a goal from Sanfida Nongrum shortly after halftime, and Lynda Kom Serto sealed the victory with a third goal in the 82nd minute. The triumph not only marked India's return to the top of South Asian women's football after 2019 but also highlighted their dominance in the tournament, winning all four matches while scoring 18 goals and conceding just one.
