He noted that the crowd outside the venue was nearly double that of those inside, reflecting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's popularity in the state. Rao expressed gratitude for the warm reception given to Modi, who was visiting Telangana for the first time since beginning his third term as Prime Minister. He emphasized the emotional connection Modi has with Telangana, coinciding with the BJP's observance of Hyderabad Liberation Day on September 17, which is also Modi's birthday. Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy criticized the previous government led by K. Chandrasekhar Rao and the current Congress government for engaging in family-based politics and failing to meet promises. He highlighted the central government's investment in infrastructure, including an allocation of ₹1.85 lakh crore (approximately $22.3 billion USD) for national highways in Telangana. The rally attracted a large number of BJP supporters from both urban and rural areas, showcasing the party's strength ahead of upcoming civic body elections.
