Manipal Health Enterprises, a private healthcare network based in Bengaluru and backed by Temasek, has completed the acquisition of land and a hospital property in Andheri, Mumbai, for ₹495 crore. The deal includes 752.77 square metres of land and a hospital with a built-up area of 20,663.80 square metres. The company initially purchased the land for ₹8 crore and the hospital floors for ₹453 crore, with the ninth floor costing ₹34 crore. This acquisition adds to an earlier transaction in 2024, where Manipal paid ₹413 crore for the main hospital land and building, bringing the total investment in the property to ₹908 crore. The transaction was officially registered on May 6, 2026, and included a stamp duty of ₹29.22 crore. The sellers are Khubchandani Hospitals Private Limited, Khubchandani Properties and Investment Private Limited, and Perfect Realty Private Limited. Additionally, Manipal Health Enterprises is preparing for an initial public offering (IPO) to raise ₹8,000 crore, which will include an offer-for-sale component of approximately 4.32 crore shares.
