The tragic case of a 22-year-old woman, daughter of an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer, has drawn significant attention after she was found dead in her home in Amar Colony, Delhi. The victim, an IIT graduate and UPSC aspirant, was allegedly raped and strangled with a phone charger. Police investigations have focused on Rahul Meena, a former domestic help who was dismissed over a month ago. Authorities believe Meena utilized his knowledge of the home's security system, which includes multiple locked access points, to enter the residence on the morning of the incident. CCTV footage shows him entering the complex at approximately 6:28 A.M. and leaving around 7:22 A.M., wearing different clothing. The victim's parents discovered her lifeless body upon returning home around 8 A.M. Police have registered charges of rape, murder, and robbery against Meena, whose arrest occurred hours after the crime at a hotel in Dwarka. The investigation continues as officials await confirmation of sexual assault from medical examinations.
