On Friday, Baramati MP Supriya Sule found herself among hundreds of commuters stranded for over two hours on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway due to a massive traffic jam. The jam was triggered by the inauguration of the Missing Link project, which aims to enhance connectivity and reduce travel time between Mumbai and Pune by 30 minutes. Sule was en route to Pune for a flag-hoisting event scheduled at 10 am, but was stuck in traffic around 9:30 am and ultimately missed the event. Following the inauguration, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis addressed the situation, apologizing to Sule and other affected commuters. He also reminded Sule that her own government had previously halted the project.
