In a tragic incident in Northeast Delhi, two friends, Hemat Tiwari and Rohit alias Sonu, were killed when a speeding car collided with their motorcycle after they returned from an Indian Premier League (IPL) match. The accident occurred near the Khajuri Khas Flyover late at night, resulting in both riders dying on the spot due to the severe impact. Police arrived at the scene and transported the bodies for post-mortem examinations while launching an investigation into the incident. In a separate but similarly tragic event on April 28, cousins Yagya Bhatia, aged 20, and Abhav Bhatia, aged 14, also lost their lives in a road accident on Ashok Road in Delhi while returning from an IPL match. Preliminary investigations suggest that this incident may have been a hit-and-run case. Police are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the area to gather more information.
