Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh emphasized that this initiative aims to enhance school education and maintain high teaching standards. The AP TET examination is set to occur from August 5 to August 21, 2026, with candidates able to take Paper I for primary classes and Paper II for upper primary classes. The application fee is ₹750 per paper, and candidates can access an online mock test starting July 15, 2026. Following the examination, the initial answer key will be available on August 24, and results are expected to be out by September 15, 2026. The DSC 2026 notification for teacher recruitment will be issued in October 2026.
