Mohit Kumar, a 26-year-old soldier in the Indian Army, tragically passed away due to a head injury sustained while training at the Special Forces Training School located in Bakloh, Himachal Pradesh. On April 18, during a boxing practice, he suffered an injury near his ear, leading to his admission to a military hospital. Despite medical efforts, his condition deteriorated, and he died on April 19. His funeral took place in his native Sahupura village in Faridabad district, where he was cremated with full state honors, attended by a large crowd, including Union Minister of State Krishnapal Gurjar and local political representatives. Kumar had been serving in the Indian Army for eight years, was recently married in February, and had joined the Special Forces Training School only 40 days prior to his death. He was the youngest of three brothers, and his family shared that serving the country was his lifelong dream.
