Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced that the supply of LPG, petrol, and diesel in the national capital is stable despite global geopolitical concerns. Authorities are delivering around 125,000 LPG cylinders daily, with an average delivery time of four to five days. Gupta emphasized that there is no shortage of fuel, and the government is closely monitoring the supply system to prevent disruptions. To combat irregularities, joint enforcement teams have conducted over 540 raids, resulting in the seizure of 2,027 cylinders and the registration of 44 FIRs for offenses such as black marketing and hoarding. The administration is encouraging domestic LPG consumers to utilize digital platforms for refill requests, which has improved delivery verification to over 90%. Additionally, 5-kg LPG cylinders are being provided to migrant workers under the Free Trade LPG scheme, ensuring support for vulnerable groups. A central control room has been established to handle complaints and enhance response times, while residents are urged to avoid panic buying.
