Amarjit Singh, a jeweller operating in Sarafa Bazaar, Ludhiana, has reported that Davinder Singh (alias Happy Jeweller) and his son Rajvir Singh (alias Rahul), both from Harnama Colony in Amargarh, Punjab, defrauded him of over 5 kg of gold jewellery. The two reportedly had a longstanding business relationship, purchasing jewellery on credit but failing to make payments since April. After repeated attempts to collect the dues, Amarjit warned the duo of legal action. In response, he claims they assaulted him and stole around 200 grams of gold jewellery he was carrying. The police have registered an FIR and are currently investigating the matter, as the accused have not appeared for questioning.
