Following closely were Udupi with 98.1% and Uttara Kannada at 98%. Dakshina Kannada’s success was attributed to targeted strategies aimed at supporting academically struggling students, which led to a significant drop in failure rates from 2,341 to 436 among 27,207 candidates. The district's Deputy Director of Public Instruction (DDPI), GS Shashidhar, emphasized the importance of focused interventions and simplified learning materials that were shared digitally with 622 schools. In Udupi, DDPI Lokesh C noted that regular school visits and motivation were crucial for maintaining high performance, with 13,373 students appearing for the exams and 13,129 passing. Uttara Kannada also performed well, with 134 out of 199 high schools achieving 100% results, showcasing the collective efforts of students, teachers, and educational officials.
