Kaddu, an elderly community dog, has been found after nearly 50 days of being missing near Delhi Airport. Her disappearance sparked widespread concern among animal lovers and volunteers, leading to extensive search efforts and online campaigns. Kaddu was spotted in Shahbad Mohammadpur, approximately 3 km from the airport, by dog lover Mohit Lamba, who informed rescuers. Videos of her rescue circulated widely on social media, showing volunteers gently carrying her to safety. Following her rescue, senior advocate Percival Billimoria decided to adopt Kaddu, stating he could not leave her outside due to her age and condition. This incident has raised significant concerns about how stray dogs are managed by airport authorities, with activists highlighting the need for better tracking and handling processes. Additionally, another community dog named Brownie remains missing, prompting ongoing discussions about the welfare of stray animals in the area.
