Residents of Gurugram, Haryana, are increasingly worried about a series of wheel thefts from parked cars in newer sectors. In a recent incident, wheels from at least twelve vehicles were stolen overnight in sectors 90 and 93. One resident, Satya Ram, reported that all four wheels of his car were taken while parked in a designated area. CCTV footage revealed a Maruti Suzuki Omni van without a number plate, which was seen at the scene of the thefts. Another resident, Anuj Gupta, noted that the same van has been spotted at multiple locations where thefts occurred, raising concerns about police patrolling. In response, Sandeep Turan, a public relations officer for Gurugram Police, stated that patrolling has been intensified in the affected areas, and efforts are ongoing to identify and arrest the suspects involved in these thefts.
