During a recent visit to Gokalpur Shiv Temple Ashram in Rewari, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini highlighted the importance of cultural and spiritual values in the state, stating that Haryana is a land of saints and warriors. He announced that the government is running various programs to facilitate pilgrimages to holy places, reinforcing the state's rich heritage. Saini praised the three-day Maharudra Yagya and the community 'bhandara' as symbols of social unity and dedication. He also acknowledged the significant increase in the budget for cow welfare, which has risen from ₹2 crore (approximately $240,000 USD) in 2014 to ₹600 crore (approximately $72 million USD) now. Additionally, Saini addressed a protest near Ramgarh Bhagwanpur village, assuring residents of a new 200-bed modern hospital and an Ayurvedic college, contingent on suitable land availability.
