The 92nd Annual USC Alumni Awards, held in April, celebrated the achievements of remarkable alumni and the enduring spirit of the Trojan Family. Host Corinne Foxx ’16 emphasized the unity among generations of graduates, as the evening honored various individuals for their contributions across diverse fields. Legendary women’s basketball coach Linda K. Sharp received the Fred B. Olds Award for her lasting impact on USC Athletics. The Alumni Service Award was presented to Cynthia van Eck ’86 for her volunteer leadership, while the Young Alumni Merit Award recognized Alex Valenti ’18 for his rising influence in the music industry. The Alumni Merit Awards honored Eric Holoman ’83 and Maj. Gen. Albert C. Zapanta ’66, MPA ’73 for their extensive careers and contributions. The highlight of the evening was the Asa V. Call Alumni Achievement Award, given to Kris Popovich ’65, MBA ’70, acknowledging a lifetime of dedication to USC. The event not only celebrated individual accomplishments but also raised over $1 million for alumni programs and scholarships, reinforcing the strength and commitment of the Trojan network. The night concluded with the Spirit of Troy leading the crowd in the USC fight song, embodying the pride and gratitude of the Trojan Family.
