Dehradun, Uttarakhand, will host the Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2026 on May 24, with 12,545 candidates expected to take part across 32 examination centres. The exam will occur in two shifts: the first from 9:30 am to 11:30 am and the second from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. In preparation, the district administration is enhancing security measures and ensuring transparency in the examination process. Additional District Magistrate KK Mishra led a review meeting with various officials, including zonal magistrates and police nodal officers, to discuss arrangements and emphasize the importance of maintaining order and integrity during the exam. Officials have been tasked with inspecting technical setups, including CCTV cameras and face authentication systems, to prevent any irregularities. Furthermore, the transportation of question papers will be tightly secured, with sealed packets collected from the treasury at designated times. The administration aims to ensure a smooth and fair examination experience for all candidates.
