In a dramatic election outcome, Seenivasa Sethupathy of the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) won the Tiruppattur Assembly seat in Tamil Nadu by a mere one vote, defeating the incumbent KR Periyakaruppan from the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) party. Sethupathy expressed his gratitude to TVK leader Vijay, attributing his victory to the support for Vijay, who has recently been sworn in as the 13th Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
