On Monday morning, two police officers from the outer district of Delhi were injured while apprehending two burglars in Shiv Nagar, West Delhi. Assistant Sub-Inspector Vinod sustained a stab wound near his eyebrow, and Constable Abhishek suffered bruises while subduing the suspects, Babloo Singh (41) and Dharam Singh (40), both from Madhya Pradesh. The duo was wanted for a house burglary case registered at the Rani Bagh police station on April 10. The police operation, conducted by the anti-snatching and burglary cell, took place around 5 am as officers tracked the suspects who were riding a motorcycle stolen from Adarsh Nagar. Despite their injuries, the officers managed to recover tools used in the burglary and successfully apprehended the suspects, leading to the resolution of six related cases.
