Paresh Rawal has expressed admiration for 'Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge', referring to it as a 'saga' and stating that he wishes he could have been part of the film. In an interview with the Press Trust of India (PTI), Rawal shared that he has watched both installments of the film multiple times, indicating his enthusiasm for the series. He humorously noted that for the first time, he felt it would have been enjoyable to be involved in the project. The film, directed by Aditya Dhar, has achieved significant box office success, grossing over ₹1,600 crore (approximately $192 million USD) globally, with an impressive ₹1,200 crore (approximately $144 million USD) from Indian collections alone in just three weeks. Rawal also commented on the portrayal of NSA Ajit Doval in the film, noting that R. Madhavan took on the role and jokingly remarked on the similarities between their appearances. His comments reflect the film's impact and the camaraderie among actors in the industry.
