Voting took place across 126 assembly constituencies at 31,490 polling stations from 7 am to 5 pm. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma described the turnout as 'historic', noting that many polling booths exceeded 95% participation, particularly in Dalgaon, which recorded the highest turnout at 94.57%. In contrast, Amri constituency had the lowest turnout at 70.40%.
