During an event organized by the National Action Network, she stated, “I might, I might. I’m thinking about it,” when asked about her potential candidacy. Harris reflected on her past experience, saying, “I served for four years being a heartbeat away from the presidency of the United States ... I know what the job is and I know what it requires.” She has previously hinted at a future presidential bid, asserting that a woman will eventually occupy the White House. Despite her loss to Donald Trump in the 2024 election, Harris remains committed to public service and believes in the need for change within the Democratic Party. However, she may face challenges as recent polling indicates that voters are looking for new leaders.
