Mukul Choudhary, a talented wicketkeeper-batter for the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), recently shone in the IPL by scoring an impressive 54 runs off 27 balls, leading his team to a three-wicket victory over the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Choudhary revealed the pivotal role his father played in his cricketing journey, stating that his father sacrificed his preparation for the Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) to ensure Mukul could pursue his dream of becoming a cricketer. Coming from a humble background, his father had always envisioned one of his children playing cricket professionally. After realizing that he could either focus on his civil service career or support Mukul, he chose the latter, eventually enrolling him in the SBS Cricket Academy in Sikar at the age of 12. Choudhary now trains at the Aravali Cricket Club in Jaipur and aspires to replicate the finishing prowess of former Indian captain MS Dhoni, whom he admires greatly. With LSG set to face the Gujarat Titans in Lucknow, Choudhary aims to continue his impressive performance in the tournament.
