Kaif highlighted that an experienced player like Pant should be able to read match situations better and take charge during critical phases of the game. He emphasized that as captain, Pant needs to stay at the crease longer and help guide the team through chases. Sunil Gavaskar, another cricket legend, noted that LSG's current success is remarkable, as they are winning despite underwhelming performances from key players like Mitchell Marsh and Nicholas Pooran. He praised the young talent Mukul Choudhary, who played a pivotal role in the win, showcasing the team's depth and resilience. Gavaskar also raised concerns about Pooran's form, suggesting that he appears out of touch and needs to regain his confidence to contribute effectively to the team.
