Jonvic Remulla, the Interior Secretary of the Philippines, indicated that an Interpol red notice for Zaldy Co, a former representative of the Ako Bicol party-list, is expected to be issued within the week. Co is facing serious allegations of graft and malversation related to a ₱289.5 million (approximately $5.2 million USD) flood control project in Oriental Mindoro province. He has been wanted since November, with nine of his co-accused already in custody and six others still at large. Current reports suggest that Co is in Portugal. Remulla also noted that a blue notice has been issued to gather more information about Co's whereabouts and activities in relation to the ongoing investigation.
