On Wednesday, workers at Shiv Nadar University in Greater Noida's Dadri area protested for a salary increase and a doubling of overtime payments. The protests in Greater Noida are part of a larger trend, as similar wage-related demonstrations have occurred recently, including a violent protest by factory workers that resulted in over 300 arrests and several FIRs.
