The CP Group, a prominent Thai conglomerate, has unveiled a partnership with Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) to establish the Center of Excellence (CP COE) at True Digital Park, Thailand's largest technology hub. This initiative aims to reshape education by integrating academic excellence with industry expertise, as stated by Teerapon Tanomsakyut, chief sustainability and strategy officer at CP Group. Learning programs are expected to commence in the last quarter of 2023, focusing on artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and business development. The CP COE will offer flexible learning pathways, including micro-credentials and collaborative research initiatives, designed for diverse learners such as students, professionals, and entrepreneurs. Dhanin Chearavanont, senior chairman of CP Group, emphasized the importance of practical problem-solving in education, stating that true understanding comes from addressing real-world challenges. The partnership aligns with XJTLU's Model 4.0 strategy, which aims to transform industry networks into a social ecosystem, thereby fostering talent and innovation in Thailand and beyond.
