On Monday afternoon, a fatal accident occurred in the Moti Nagar area of Ludhiana, Punjab, India, when a scooter carrying three friends collided with a stationary mini truck on a flyover. The victims were identified as Vijay Masih, 43, and Gaurav Sehgal, 38, both of whom died from their injuries, while Abhi Pal, 23, is in critical condition. The trio was traveling on an Activa scooter from Sherpur towards Samrala Chowk when the accident happened near the Mohan Dai Cancer Hospital. The police reported that the scooter went out of control and crashed into the truck, which had been parked on the roadside after its driver stopped to urinate. Vijay Masih died at the scene, and Gaurav Sehgal succumbed to his injuries at Christian Medical College and Hospital. The police have initiated an investigation, seized the mini truck, and registered a case against the unidentified driver, who fled the scene.
